Boris Fridman, Art Collector

Over the last several years I have had the tremendous pleasure of knowing Boris Fridman, international art collector and curator of major exhibitions in Europe. We have worked together on three compendium volumes of art and other publications that he has overseen. Boris collects artiste d'livre boxed sets of prints that were sold at exhibitions 1900-1980, and was kind enough to write the foreword to my forthcoming book "American Snapshot." Porchfest

A Jamaica Plain band opted for a garage during Porchfest.

  

Historical Milestone

A resident at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital became the first African-American woman to graduate from the Harvard Emergency Medicine program.

Ming Tsai at Davios

College roommate Steve Difillippo hosted a Ming Tsai cooking demonstration for a local charity at his Seaport Davios location. Gourmet drinks and pastry-wrapped spring rolls were passed at the reception.
